Flexible displays have been in the rumor stage for quite sometime now. Each and every time a rumor about flexible display comes up, it is always associated with Samsung. So, it is evident that Samsung is working to bring a bendable display into the market.

Looks like 2013 will be the year when Samsung brings the flexible displays. According to CNET, the South Korean electronics giant will take the opportunity at the CES 2013 to show off its bendable display to the larger crowd. According to reports, Samsung will show off a 5.5inch bendable display of 1280x720p HD resolution (pixel density 267ppi). Samsung hopes to find a place for these bendable displays in the next generation smartphones and tablets. But please do not expect bendable tablets and phones(how will the other parts behave when bent? So, are bendable displays really going to make the phone bendable? No).

As per the reports, Samsung will just show off its bendable display. But there are no bendable devices that will be seen. We will have to wait till CES to find out more details. We will bring you any news as soon as possible
